Chinese Americans for Social Justice

The non profit organization "Chinese Americans for Social Justice" and other related organizations, such as United Chinese Americans, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, and the Association of Chinese Americans for Social Justice, focus on defending civil rights, combating anti-Asian hate, promoting civic engagement, and integrating Chinese Americans into American society. These groups advocate for equitable treatment, fair immigration policies, and the inclusion of Chinese American history in educational curricula.

The Chinese Americans for Social Justice has shared a series of oral history interviews with the Minnesota Digital Library that document the Chinese American experience in Minnesota. These interviews recount adjusting to new jobs and Minnesota winters as well as the challenges of learning English.
