Measures to support accessibility
- Include accessibility as part of our mission.
- Verify new website content for accessibility compliance prior to deployment.
- Conduct regular automated and manual scans to support ongoing accessibility.
- Request third-party vendors we contract with provide Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and demonstrate a commitment to relevant accessibility standards.
- Conduct internal audits of free or open-source software for accessibility before integration.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The Minnesota Digital Library website aims for full conformance with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
