Located on the shores of Cedar Lake in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and established in 1888, the Jones-Harrison Residence is believed to be the longest continuously operating home to senior citizens in Minnesota. A non-profit organization offering 24-hour skilled nursing care, assisted living apartments and comprehensive rehabilitation services, Jones-Harrison is known for its innovative programs for memory-loss and arthritis care, including warm water therapy and a full-service fitness center. The collection the Jones-Harrison Residence contributed to the Minnesota Digital Library includes written and photographic materials documenting staff, grounds, history and annual reports of Jones-Harrison Residence from 1886, with the original will of co-founder Jane T. Harrison, through 1925.
