The Minnesota Digital Library will remove and/or refuse to publish items that violate the law. MDL will work quickly to investigate the situation and inform all involved parties of its decisions and actions.
The Minnesota Digital Library also reserves the right to take down content that is not in compliance with MDL's established standards of quality (see Best Practices for Digitization) and completeness (see Criteria above). Before removing any records, MDL staff will contact the contributing organization to give them an opportunity to make a more complete submission or to improve the quality of the digital content to meet the required standards.
