Since 1938, Waseca County Historical Society in Waseca, Minnesota has preserved and interpreted the history of the county, organized in 1857. As a county museum and research library, WCHS is proud to be the primary historical resource for its current and former residents, and many visitors on site and online. They are proud to bring photographs, an atlas, and the original 1857 Waseca County Minutes to the Minnesota Digital Library. The story of the formation of the townships, towns, school districts, and the names of the settlers who made it all happen are here in this original record of early Waseca County history.
