Stevens County Historical Society

From its prairie home in Morris, Minnesota, the Stevens County Historical Society collects photographs, printed materials, and artifacts that tell the story of the role Stevens County in the movement of settlers into the Dakotas and the western prairies. For the Minnesota Digital Library, the Stevens County Historical Society shared images of the American Indian Boarding School, which eventually became the University of Minnesota, Morris. Other images capture the development of rural west central Minnesota, which include agricultural, industrial, social, labor, architectural and construction history.
