Scott County Historical Society

From its home in the Stans Museum in Shakopee, Minnesota, the Scott County Historical Society searches for and preserves the history and cultural heritage of Scott County. They share their history through exhibits and educational programs. The Scott County collection includes archival items, artifacts, and photographs that relate to residents, businesses and social heritage and the Maurice Stans government papers and African collection. The Scott County Historical Society contribution to Minnesota Reflections includes images of the development of the Shakopee and Belle Plaine areas including business, social and architectural history.
