Sauk Centre Area Historical Society

The Sauk Centre Area Historical Society, in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, was founded in 1987 to collect for, and disseminate to, the public historical artifacts and information on the churches, businesses, and local families. The goal of the society is to sustain the knowledge of the past while recording current events for future generations, and to engender in our children an interest in local history. The society supports genealogical research for local families and their decedents. Images the Sauk Centre Area Historical Society contributed to Minnesota Reflections show prominent families, early businesses, education and churches that highlight the development of the community of Sauk Centre. Also included is the first volume of the Sauk Centre Herald.
