The Shaw-Olson Center for College History at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, maintains paper records, photographs and recordings that document the college's history and actively collects historical materials about St. Olaf graduates. The center's holdings include the Ole G. Felland collection of St. Olaf and Norwegian-American photographs and records from defunct Lutheran schools (notably, the Red Wing Seminary, in Red Wing, Minnesota). For the Minnesota Digital Library, St. Olaf College contributed images of the original college buildings: the main building, Ladies' Hall (the first women's dormitory), Ytterboe Hall (the first men's dormitory), Steensland Library, Hoyme Chapel and the president's house.
