Organized in 1978, the Robbinsdale Historical Society collects, preserves and tells the story of Robbinsdale's past. The society maintains a municipal history museum within the original Robbinsdale Library building at 4915 42nd Avenue North. The building itself is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.
