The Rice County Historical Society, located on the fairgrounds in Faribault, Minnesota, was founded in 1926 as an outgrowth of the Old Settlers Association, formed in 1874. The mission is to "collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Rice County and the State of Minnesota." This mission has guided us over the years and continues to be our focus for everything we do. The material submitted to the Minnesota Digital Library is from our Holy Cross Episcopal Church collection, formerly located in Dundas, Bridgewater Township, Rice County, Minnesota. These images range in dates from the 1870s to the 1990s.
