Located in a former city hall building now on the National Register of Historic Places, the Pipestone County Museum, Pipestone, Minnesota, is home to the Pipestone County Historical Society, which collects artifacts, creates exhibits, maintains archives and a research library, and provides programming relating to this southwestern county. Their holdings include photographs, county newspapers, Native American artifacts, school records, agricultural artifacts and textiles. For the Minnesota Digital Library, the Pipestone County Museum contributed images featuring the National Pipestone Monument area including the Three Maidens, Winnewissa Falls, Leaping Rock, and the works of 1880s photographers G.L. Chesley, F.B. Eykyn, and F.O. Pease.
