From its home in Thief River Falls in northwestern Minnesota, the Pennington County Historical Society works to discover, collect and preserve photographs, printed materials and artifacts related to the history of Pennington County. For the Minnesota Digital Library, this historical society contributed photographs from the work of Jacob Borry and O. A. Holm that show the early development of Pennington County including timber and railroad activities, events and street scenes from county towns.
