Nobles County Historical Society collects, exhibits and interprets the history of Nobles County and its people. NCHS has renovated the historic Worthington Armory building into a new Nobles County Heritage Center, located at 225 Ninth St., Worthington. The large multi-level building has been restored to its former glory with respectful updates for a modern time, and it is there that the treasures of Nobles County are preserved for future generations. NCHS also operates Pioneer Village, a seasonal historic site that re-creates the settlement period of Nobles County.
