Nobles County Historical Society

Nobles County Historical Society collects, exhibits and interprets the history of Nobles County and its people. Over the past two years, NCHS has renovated the historic 100-year-old Worthington Armory building into a new Nobles County History Center, now located at 225 Ninth St., Worthington. The Armory has been restored to its former glory with respectful updates for a modern time, and it is there that the treasures of Nobles County will be preserved for future generations. There is still some work to be completed, but NCHS was able to move its offices into the new space in early October 2021.
