The Office of the Revisor of Statutes, created by statute in 1939, is an office of the Minnesota Legislature located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Staff members provide confidential, nonpartisan drafting services to both the House and the Senate, as well as the governor, constitutional officers, state agencies and departments. In addition, the Revisor's office is the official publisher of Minnesota law, including the Laws of Minnesota, Minnesota Statutes, and Minnesota Rules. These Minnesota laws are published in books and on the Internet. Specific duties of the office are set out in Minnesota Statutes, chapters 3C and 14.
