McLeod County Historical Society

The McLeod County Historical Society in Hutchinson, Minnesota, is dedicated to connecting with the past, understanding the present and making informed choices about the future by finding, preserving, explaining and sharing McLeod County History. Along with an extensive exhibit area and art gallery, their building houses a document and photograph archive. Preserving local history has been an important undertaking in McLeod County since the old settlers gathered in the late 19th century to share their stories. McLeod County Historical Society contributed photographs to the Minnesota Digital Library that represent the towns of the county and show a variety of early street scenes, local businesses and homes.
