Lake of the Woods Historical Society

From Baudette, Minnesota, in the youngest and most northern county in the state, the Lake of the Woods County Historical Society serves as a repository for photographs, printed materials and artifacts that relate to the history of the Lake of the Woods area. The images the historical society contributed to the Minnesota Digital Library depict the area during settlement days, capture scenes from the devastating forest fire of 1910, and reflect early industries and development.
