Fillmore County Historical Society

The Fillmore County Historical Society in Fountain, Minnesota, collects photographs and artifacts related to the history of Fillmore County, which is one of the oldest counties in the state and is located in the southeastern part of Minnesota on the Iowa border. The historical society shared with the Minnesota Digital Library images of the early development of the county including milling, woolen and creamery industries, and photographs of the fire department, churches, the courthouse, and the county poor house.
