The Esko Historical Society in Esko, Minnesota serves the citizens of northeastern Minnesota by collecting photographs, printed materials, and artifacts related to the history of the Esko-Thomson Township area. The society is housed in the museum in Esko, which includes seven historic buildings. Its goal is to share the past through the stories and artifacts of those who settled in and made the community what it is today. The Esko Historical Society contribution to the Minnesota Digital Library includes photographs of the people, farms, and roads, as well as artwork done by early residents to show how people lived as they settled and developed the Esko area.
